Join our friendly volunteer team and help make a difference to disabled children, young people and their families. Develop new skills, make new friends, have fun and share your skills and knowledge with others.

Volunteering is a great way to develop your knowledge and make use of your skills whilst having fun and changing lives.
The volunteers in our services really do make the difference and without them we wouldn’t be able to do the work we do.
Whether you can give a few hours, a full day or want to become a lifelong volunteer, your time really does count and means a lot to our charity and the families we work with.
We offer a range of volunteering opportunities including
- Volunteering with group sessions for children and young people with disabilities
- Helping at our inclusive play centre
- Office support
- Attending fundraising events

Internships and Work Placements
Springboard have had some fantastic Interns and students on work placements in the past and we are always looking to welcome more.
If you do an internship or work placements with us, we will work with you to make sure you get the most out of the experience. With in-house training, external training and hands-on experience, you will develop new skill and get first hand experience that will provide invaluable to your future career.

Who can apply?
Our internships are open to anyone looking to develop their skills and gain experience in the workplace, however you must be at least 18 years old to apply.

What will I be doing?
Springboard is a small but diverse charity so we have a range of opportunities across the organisation which will develop skills in a number of areas, these include:

During your internship or work placement you’ll have the chance to really make an impact, so pick a role that you’re passionate about!
We have internships and work placements across the organisation and can be anything from 2 weeks to a year. We try to be as flexible as possible, so remote working or adjusted hours around your commitments can be discussed with you before you start.
