Stepping Stones is our new project designed to raise aspirations and improve mental health and wellbeing for those with SEND.
Each of our pathways aims to focus on a key target area; increasing social interactions, easing challenges with transitions, increasing independence and providing support and skills to increase employability.
Funded for three years by the Community Fund, the pathways are open to children and young adults with disabilities aged 6 – 30 years.
Stepping Stones focuses on 4 key areas:
- Community Engagement – Increase community engagement and relationships
- Transitions – One-to-one support for upcoming changes
- Lifelong Learning – Learning independent skills
- Volunteering / Employability skills – Acquiring knowledge and skills to become work-ready
