Our Staff

All of our staff team at Springboard play a crucial role in enabling us to meet our goals and ambitions. They all play an essential role to ensure our strategic vision is put into practice and meets the needs of the children, young people and families we support.

Luke Woodjetts
Operations Manager
Luke joined Springboard in 2002 as a volunteer and has developed in the organisation to a support worker, officer and now manager. Luke is a trained teacher and has dedicated his life to working, support and making a difference to disabled children.

Luke is one of the biggest Harry Potter fans you are ever likely to meet and is a regular to Comic-Con events.

Amy Brewster-Brown
Service Delivery Officer
Amy joined Springboard in 2012 as a volunteer and has developed in the organisation to a support worker and now officer. During this time, Amy attended University gaining a Medical Genetics degree. Amy hopes to combine her degree with her experience working with Springboard to develop her career in Health Care Science.

Amy spends her free time either covered in mud on the rugby pitch or dusted with flour making delicious bakes for the team.

Lidy Hajnal
Service Delivery Officer
Lidy joined Springboard in 2018 after working as a nursery school teacher for 2 years. Lidy is currently working towards a degree in play therapy after achieving her sociology degree. Lidy has also done voluntary work across several countries


Brooke Wright
Service Delivery Officer
Brooke joined Springboard in 2014 as a volunteer and has progressed through the organisation to a support worker and now an Assistant. Brooke is currently working towards her Primary Education and Teaching Degree at University and is hoping to work as a SEND Teacher once she has completed her course.Brooke spends most of her free time studying but does enjoy a good series on Netflix. 
Ayla Hunnisett
Service Delivery Officer
Ayla joined Springboard in 2018 on a University placement year. Ayla is studying for a Psychology degree and is hoping to pursue a career working with children with additional needs.

Ayla spends most of her free time studying for her degree but can easily be distracted by Netflix and the hoover. 

Ben Burt
Chief Executive Officer
Ben joined Springboard in 2017 having previously worked for London Youth, Barnardos and OPEN.  Ben has over 17 years working in the voluntary sector and has been involved in a number of exciting projects including a £12.1 million pound refurbishment to build a state of the art youth centre, large statutory contracts as well as having a history of delivering services to children and young people.

Ben is also an avid record collector and a huge fan of funk, soul and hip hop as well as enjoying locally roasted coffee.
