Volunteering

There are plenty of volunteering opportunities with Springboard Project.  We run short break activities for children and young people with additional needs aged 0-25 years in Horsham, Crawley, Worthing and Sutton.

If you are an understanding and caring individual who enjoys socialising and participating in fun activities, and if you are keen to help young people with additional needs learn valuable life skills that will encourage their independence then why not come along and give it a go?

Volunteers are asked to encourage the children and young people to participate in the activities on offer and support them.  These include tasks such as ordering their own meal or drinks at a restaurant, paying for an ice-cream and receiving change; all valuable life and social skills aimed at developing and promoting independence and confidence.

If you decide that you would like to come along and help us by volunteering some of your spare time, we as staff at Springboard will be there to help and support you every step of the way.

Centre Volunteer

Are you good at tidying, sorting, cleaning, gardening, arts and crafts, Lego or DIY? We are always looking for handy people to help make our centre look even better and to help out at some of our fun clubs.

Community Ambassadors

Are you enthusiastic and keen to raise funds for Springboard? The role of a Community Ambassadors is to help at fundraising events, do bucket collections and raise funds for Springboard.

Activity Volunteer

We have opportunities to help at our sessions for disabled children and young people in Horsham, Crawley, Worthing and Sutton. If you are patient, fun, caring, understanding and committed to making a difference then this role is for you!
